ABOUT KNUIEP In
response to the exciting challenges of today's global community, KNU
operates the Kyungpook National University International Education Program
(KNUIEP). KNUIEP is specifically intended to provide undergraduate
students from overseas with a unique academic experience that will allow
them to expand their knowledge and understanding of other peoples and
cultures.
KNUIEP COURSES All KNUIEP courses
have been specially designed to offer a new perspective and understanding
of Korea while also addressing topical global issues. All courses are
taught in English. Each course carries three credits. |

REGULAR COURSES IN
ENGLISH / KOREAN In addition, international students are
eligible to enroll on regular courses taught in English or Korean offered
by the University. However, a fairly advanced Korean language proficiency
is required to enroll on regular courses taught in Korean. ACADEMIC CALENDAR

one semester is also possible.
APPLICATION The Office of International Affairs
functions as the main administrative office for all KNUIEP
students.
 An
applicant must: (1) be currently enrolled as an undergraduate
student at a non-Korean academic institution. (2) have a good
command of English as KNUIEP courses are taught in English. (3)
be aware of the condition that the KNUIEP courses do not confer a
degree. (4) have a clear purpose for studying in
Korea.
